It’s something my musical tastes seem to overlap with only partly, but The Ectophiles’ Guide to Good Music is a really nicely made and very well cross-referenced guide to a chunk of music described by the proprietor as ‘ectophilic‘. I found while looking for Cocteau Twins info (I wanted to know which album had the Winter Wonderland cover on it - and it turns out it was only ever a single ), but the range goes from Kate Bush, Ani di Franco, Throwing Muses, Jill Sobule (yay!) and Liz Phair. It’s mostly female singer-songwriter’s of some form.
