On a related note, here is another small, quiet system which looks cool (cooler than the Shuttle SV24): the Soldam Pandora.
It’s using the same FV24 mobo as the shuttle, but in a beautifully finished 9 inch cubic aluminium case. They make a range of colours, including a really fetching deep metallic red, using backpainted ‘glass’ for the front panel. They also do a range of storage devices (DVD, CDRW, floppy) in matching colours. Too bad they are so damn expensive! It’s about 400UKP for a red cube with DVD, CDRW and floppy… although 80 of that is shipping from Japan.
They also do a Shuttle SV24-shaped system, called the Polo T 2. If only they had a European distie.
